In 1993 I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis,A very painful and debilitating condition.
As a result it became necessary for me to give up the sports I loved, such as aerobics and Badminton. Following medication which pulled down my immune system, I was advised to seek an alternative form of more gentle exercise. Relaxing had been very hard for me to do. Until I found Tai Chi in 1995. At first it wasn’t easy to move, quite painful, but it helped me to keep my joints moving.
2006 I was drawn to Lee Style Tai Chi with the East West Taoist Association. Dorothy and Marie Inspired me,with there teaching. There was so much to learn. I was hooked and couldn’t get enough. I then started travelled to Scarborough to train with the Master Howard Gibbon. He was great and very patient. Everyone there was so supportive and helped each other. I started the Tai Chi teacher training course in 2010 and qualified in 2012. The Best Feeling Ever! I Love Tai Chi ! It has changed my life!
I started my beginners Tai Chi class in Feb 2013. All are Welcome Pauline Rose.
